RasGas is engaged in the business of production and sale of Liquefied Natural Gas and related hydrocarbon products. At present, the company operates a five - train onshore facility and one sales gas train at Ras Laffan, which is located 80 km north of the capital city Doha, in the State of Qatar. The Company, as part of our expansion programme currently seek applications for the following positions :

Head of Project Services

Supervise Projects Support and Services Section personnel responsible for cost estimating, stewardship, cost control, analysis reporting, project scheduling, resource planning, accounting requirement, project risk assessments monitoring, computing requirement and other related functions to ensure smooth and economical implementation of projects. Provides Operations Capital Projects input for RasGas’s major project planning and budget activities. Administer OCP contracts such as General Engineering Services, Construction Call-off Contract and EPC contract. Monitor contractor’s performance in areas of cost estimation and controls, schedule control, accounting, and procurement and provide advice as necessary to make certain client’s objectives are achieved.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
BSc in Engineering. MBA (Optional). Administration experience 10 years of Project Control or Business in the Oil & Gas Sector. Minimum 5 years strong knowledge in Projects, Planning and Cost monitoring. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage others and Proven organizational, planning, and implementation skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good analytical skills.

Project Controls Specialist

Establish initial project budgets and prepare subsequent budget updates for all design and/or construction activities based on an estimate of the selected design alternatives. Review trend analyses, budget updates and recommendations for corrective action to assure compliance with company requirements. Provides supervision and guidance to the Cost and Schedule Engineers. Monitors the Contractor’s project controls performance in the area of scheduling, progress monitoring and cost estimating and provide advice as necessary to make sure the Company’s objectives are achieved.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
BSc in Engineering. Min. of 5 years of experience in cost estimating, cost and schedule control/monitoring. 10 years of similar experience in large organizations. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Project Engineering Specialist

Direct and participate in projects activities from engineering, purchasing, construction, installation and commissioning. Provides technical service and support to Operations and Maintenance. Keeps abreast of technological developments and provides guidance to management for the benefit of the Company. Represent Project Engineering Section in Asset Level Team Meeting to present project progress report, overall planning and managing of Asset projects and support asset in work prioritization.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
BSc in Engineering. Min.12 years experience in project engineering activities including design and construction work with at least 5 years in Project / Facilities engineering support/modifications to major process plants.

Project Engineer

Assists Project Engineering Specialists in projects activities from engineering, purchasing, construction, installation and commissioning. Provides technical service and support to Operations and Maintenance. Keeps abreast of technological developments and provides guidance to management for the benefit of the Company. In absence of Project Engineer Specialist, represent Project Engineering Section in Asset Level Team Meeting to present project progress report, overall planning and managing of Asset projects and support asset in work prioritization.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
BSc in Engineering. Min of 8 years experience in project engineering activities including design and design and construction work with at least 5 years in Project / Facilities engineering support/modifications to major process plants. Very good written and spoken English skills.

Interface Coordinator

To manage and provide the technical interface coordination between OCP with internal RasGas Departments or external such as RLIC/EPC/GES/CCoC contractors-“Contractors”. Ensure that Contractor technical activities and deliverables comply with RasGas requirements. Review and coordinate all Battery Limit (B/L) interfaces between Contractor scope of works and that of the RasGas facility. Participate in all project co-ordination meetings. Assist with the Technical Review of Contractor documents issued to RasGas for review against project interface requirements. Assist with Interface Coordination training activities.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
B.Sc. in Engineering or Diploma in Technical major or equivalent. Excellent understanding of Project Technical requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Minimum of 10 years experience of engineering and/or construction activities with at least 5 years in a major process plant. Proven organizational, planning, and implementation skills.

Continuous Improvement Advisor

Responsible for identifying areas for improvement in the Operations Capital Projects (OCP) work systems/processes. Also, responsible for developing and implementing new initiatives in the OCP Department.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Minimum of ten (10) years experience in all phases of capital project planning and execution with 5 years experience in Project Management. Sound written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Sound knowledge of OIMS or equivalent practices. Experience in managing/interfacing with contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.

Senior Document Controller (QA/QC)

To provide management, leadership, stewardship, and mentorship to the Capital Projects Document centre. To provide high quality documentation support for the Capital Projects group. Manage the coordination of document workflow from the Capital Projects group to the corporate Document and Standards Department.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Technical education with a certificate in any engineering discipline, library science. Good understanding reading and interpreting drawings in the oil and gas Petroleum industry. Proven organizational, planning and implementation skills Advanced experience managing EDMS (Electronic Document Management System). 10-15 years experience in document control work. Previous experience managing personnel in document management.
