Urgently Require:

Position: PROJECT MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. A graduate of an accredited shipbuilding apprenticeship. Preferable a Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
2. Ten (10) years of progressively increasing responsibility in Construction Management in Shipbuilding or large industrial contracts. Project management progression to have included practical application of strategic planning in a naval ship construction environment, shipboard management of the project and budget management.
3. Manage the Contracts of new build vessels or major refits by controlling the interfacing with the customer, designer, subcontractors, suppliers and other third parties involved in the contract up through delivery of the vessel and the warranty period.
4. Manage contract changes and configuration control to execute the projects within contractual requirements.
5. Must have a mastery of English, both verbal and written. Must be able to produce clear and concise reports concerning project status as well as correspondence with customer and the ability to effectively use project management software.
6. The ability to work with multinational Customers, subcontractors and work force.
7. Must be able to represent the company as the senior project representative by instilling confidence and by demonstrating the ability to balance the many deadlines and stresses associated with a major, complex project.

Position: PROJECT SUPERVISOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Graduate of certified Apprenticeship Program in shipbuilding or a mechanical, electrical or naval architectural engineering Technical School.
2. Minimum of five years experience as a Supervisor responsible for all phases of building commercial or military new construction vessels, including shipboard testing.
3. Experience and knowledge to direct Foremen or charge hands in their daily tasks based on schedules and budgets.
4. Experience and knowledge to read drawings, technical manuals and part list documents.
5. Experience and knowledge of Regulatory Body Rules, Military Specs and Good Shipbuilding Practices.
6. Ability to develop shipboard schedules and budgets.
7. Ability to work with a multinational work force.
8. Ability to communicate in English, written and verbal.
9. Good communication skills to interact with class society representatives, customers, subcontractors, supervisors, peers and skilled workers.
10. Ability to operate standard office computer programs.

Position: COMBAT SYSTEMS ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Bachelors Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or other internationally recognized technical qualification in a related engineering field.
2. Have a minimum of five years experience as an Engineer involved in naval combat system design, manufacture, integration, trials and subsequent support.
3. Have excellent multi-level liaison and team working skills, with the ability to work to budget and program with minimal supervision.
4. Be flexible and capable of multi-tasking.
5. Have a good understanding of the installation and trial aspects of combat system equipment and systems. Past employment with a combat system contractor and/or as a Naval Weapons Engineer would be considered a major advantage.
6. Have excellent command of both written and spoken English.
7. Be computer literate and be familiar with MS Office applications.

Position: ESTIMATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Degree, Diploma or Equivalent certificate in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
2. Must have a minimum 4-5 years experience as Estimator in a Ship Repair / Ship Building Facility.
3. Should be able to interpret the detailed work scopes from the tender documents and prepare estimates. Coordinate with client representatives and yard personnel, as needed, to inspect the repair requirements on board the vessels and prepare estimates.
4. Should be proficient in estimating works related to ship structures, shipboard machinery and equipment. Experience in new build estimating will be an advantage, but not a must.
5. Should have experience in project budgeting and cost control measures.
6. Must have excellent communication skills, with good command on both written and spoken English.
7. Must be computer literate and familiar with MS Excel and other word processing programs.

Position: MATERIAL ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Bachelors Degree in Marine Engineering, Marine Architecture or equivalent.
2. Basic knowledge of the various trade operations in shipbuilding and minimum 5 years experience in shipbuilding.
3. Experience and knowledge in the use of MS Office and Excel. Basic administrative skills such as maintaining technical documents and files.
4. Ability to read and understand shipbuilding drawings and technical manuals.
5. Ability to communicate, verbal and written, in English.
6. Good communications skills to interact with supervisors, foreman and peers.
7. For repair projects, provide technical input to Material Planners to develop Bill of Material based on Sales Order and input from Production and Production Planning.
8. For new construction projects, provide technical input to Material Planners to complete material take-off and develop Bill of Material based on Contract and design documents provided by the Ship Designer.
9. Develop and maintain procurement schedules and expedite Engineering, Purchasing or suppliers as necessary to maintain schedule.
10. Participate in ship checks and record material requirements based on recommendations of Production.
11. Participate in project agenda meetings and follow up on material requirements as requested by Production.

Position: SENIOR BUYER

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Minimum of 8-10 years experience as Senior Buyer in major shipyard.
2. Business and /or Engineering Degree preferred.
3. Excellent knowledge of shipbuilding/materials & practices.
4. Project buying experience of major ship components and systems.
5. Material sourcing in South East Asia, Far East & Western Europe.
6. Strong RFQ preparing, negotiating, cost analyzing and evaluating skills.
7. Fluency in commercial terms (T & Cs, LOCs, INCOTERMS, Euronorms) and technical standards (DIN, EU, JIS, ASTM, ASME).
8. Computer literate; e-commerce experience a plus.
9. Independent operator/thinker, self-discipline and motivation, team player, good communicator and with unquestionable ethics.
10. Fluency in English (written & spoken).
