Our Client, an International oil and gas company is currently looking for:

1. Account Payable Accountant (Direct Contract for 12 months)

Position Summary:
Based in Jakarta, this position requires a well organized and detailed individual to support the AP process. This position will work closely with the Procurement Dept and with the Business Units to ensure accurate processing and timely payment of invoices. In addition, this position will work with vendors as necessary to ensure invoices are received correctly and that they are accompanied by adequate support / tax documentation.

High standards of excellence, attention to detail and the willingness/flexibility to work through peak work cycles are essential for success in this role.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Review invoice calculations and completeness of required supporting documents
• Determine the correct accounting code
• Obtain invoice review and approval from Business Unit
• Initiate payment process (IDR and USD) by entering invoices for payment
• Code, book and reconcile transactions related to the Corporate Credit Card
• Prepare and analyze a monthly AP reconciliation and make adjusting entries as required
• Prepare debit note to vendors as required
• Reply to questions from vendors and / or Business Units about invoices and payments
• Record petty cash journal entries
• Prepare monthly G&A accruals

Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP accounting system
• Good written & verbal skills in English
• Ability to understand contract terms and conditions
• Ability to analyze and reconcile the accounts payable general ledger account
• Ability to work overtime in peak cycles as required
• Team player
• Minimum two (2) years experience in energy industry

2. Business Development Manager

Responsible to : Country Chief Executive

Responsible for:
• Identifying business opportunity of each of the business line within the company.

Product and Market Development

3. Procurement Officer (One year third party contract)
The incumbent must have well known knowledge of the PTK007 BPMIGAS.

Following are the responsibilities:

Procurement in General
1. Liaise with user department to understand the requirement of the services required by the user.
2. Prepare a Bid Document for services being procure to be inline with the requirement and the regulation
3. Communicate with service providers to have an updates on the technology & the market situation.
4. Conduct a bidding process which include but not limited to:
- Announce the bid process
- Conduct qualification process to registered bid participants
- Provide an explanation regarding the qualification’s result
- Conduct a pre-bid clarification meeting liaise with the user & legal department if necessary
- Evaluate the process to be inline with the bid document requirements
- Request clarifications to the bidder if required
- Conduct negotiation to the bidders
- Prepare summary the evaluation/bidding process and assist bid committee to make recommendations for the awarding

5. Obtain approvals from the Bid Committee on the recommendation for contract awarding.
6. Prepare and send notifications to succesfull/unsuccessfull bidders

2008 Drilling Campaign Procurement
1. Team up in preparing arround 20 bidding process to be finalized prior July 2008

Post Bidding Activities
1. Monitoring the delivery process for each services procured to assure the services requirement stipulated in the contract has been served by the contractor
2. Liaise with the logistic coordinator to monitor the permits & formalities required to be provided by the contractor

4. Reservoir Engineer (Balikpapan Based)

Job Description:
• Assess an accurately as possible, hydrocarbon reserves by estimating production profiles, taking into account the geology and reservoir geophysicist for reservoir characterization, the oil architecture to the development scheme, the construction and well productivity well, throughout all the phases a reservoirs life (appraisal, development and production).
• Control, under the reservoir aspect, reservoir development and production operations and, in particular, adapt them to the actual geology

15. Senior Finance Analyst – Non Operated Asset & New Ventures

Position Summary
This position supports Indonesia non-operated assets and New ventures by working closely with the relevant Indonesian Business Units as the primary representative for the Indonesia Finance organization.

Primary responsibilities of this position are to:
• Assist in the monthly forecast, annual budget and financial reporting processes
• Support the Business Units and SEA (KL) Business Support

Roles/Responsibilities
• Monthly Forecast Process :
- Prepare monthly forecast and ensure completeness of Hyperion upload
- Review monthly forecast with relevant Business Units
- Provide analysis and commentary on variances and operational issues
- Provide monthly CapEx accruals to investment accounting and OpEx accruals to KL Shared Services Accounting
- Ensure deadlines for management reviews and financial reporting are met
- Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing forecast issues and queries

• Annual Budget :
- Prepare Indonesia non-operated assets and New Ventures budgets
- Prepare and maintain detailed schedules for tracking budgeted capital expenditures and operating expenses

- Provide continuous updates and feedback to management on budget status

• General Business Support & Reporting :
- Review cash calls and secure approval for processing by due date
- Review joint interest billing statement issued by operators
- Coordinate inter-company billing issues with the AP team
- Coordinate AFE preparation and tracking including monitoring costs and preparation of internal AFE supplements as required by policy
- Provide variance analysis and explanation on actual performance for management
- Participate in Business Unit meetings as required to communicate forecast or financial reporting issues
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for various management reviews and meetings
- Provide Ad Hoc finance support or reporting at the request of management
- Participate in all OCM, MCM, FCM as the Finance Team Representative

Requirements:

20. Legal Counsel

• To support the legal Regional Manager in the development of the SEA legal function.

Reporting to

Roles & Responsibilities

• To work closely with the resident lawyer in Jakarta.
• To give pro-active, timely, 1st quartile and commercial legal advice to clients based in Indonesia, the SEA region, the UK and US.
• Cross function and multi-disciplinary legal support and advice. This includes, reviewing, drafting and negotiating oil & gas and other commercial and legal agreements, advising the corporate function to ensure ongoing compliance with company policy and all applicable laws, supporting supply chain and operations and dealing with other day to day matters of a legal nature.
• Building constructive and influential relationships with operating companies.
• Liaising with relevant external Indonesian government and regulatory authorities and co-ventures.
• Liaising with external lawyers as may be required from time to time.
• Working closely and as a team with other members of the legal function based in South East Asia, the UK and US.
• Promoting the legal function throughout the company, within country, the region and globally.
• Protecting the reputation and promoting the interests of the company in Indonesia and the region.

Experience & Attributes
• Indonesian qualified and practicing lawyer with the right to live and work in Indonesia.
• 5 to 7 years post-qualification experience gained preferably in the energy sector (in-house or private practice).
• Fluent in spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Preferably some international tertiary education or work experience.
• Willingness to use initiative, to be pro-active and to identify and address commercial and legal issues facing multinational oil & gas companies in Indonesia.
• Strong commercial orientation with experience of applying legal expertise to add value on a wide range of business and technical issues.
• Willing to work hard with excellent communication skills as part of a dynamic customer focused group.
